Revamping the entire platform was an imperative decision made by the management to elevate the technical infrastructure and enrich the user experience.
Project Overview#
Revamp is a crucial step in upgrading our platform’s content, structure, format, and navigation to significantly enhance user experience and performance. As part of this process, my role is to ensure a smooth and seamless user experience throughout the platform.
Why Revamp#
- Outdated design and structure
- Limitations and complexity in offering the capabilities and services
- Migrating to a single framework. We were using two frameworks aglor and React.
- Enhancing user experience and satisfaction, incresasing user retention rate.
- The platform is not optimized for Url share.
- Responsive platform
Problem#
- Navigation is over cluttered
- Inconsistency: Pages are not following a common pattern, font and color are not consistent throughout pages. The navigation across pages within a website has inconsistent naming and mapping.
- Accessibility: Not following Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG)
- Spacing and Alignment problem
- The current platform is not feasible for any new feature development.
